The Stangeland Group established the crane company Stangeland Kran AS in 1979 with three mobile cranes ranging in capacity from 18 to 30 tonnes and quickly built the company into a large and reputable enterprise. With the high activity in the oil industry along Norway’s west coast in the 1980s, the crane industry experienced major advances in both quality and safety – and in 2017, we purchased our largest crane yet: a Terex Demag CC3800 with a capacity of 650 tonnes.
As we grew, many crane companies joined Stangeland Group, which later established Crane Norway Group in 2016. The group consists of solid companies with long traditions whose main activities are in the transport and lifting sector.
